Vanity Bear – La Noche No Es Para Mí

Vanity Bear were a Spanish electro duo, consisting of Mr. Multi (Paco) and Mr. iPop (Noel). They recorded some great electronic pop songs together, but there was never an official album release. Many of their songs were about the gay bear lifestyle, hence the name Vanity Bear. They wrote clever, funny, tongue-in-cheeck and sometimes biting songs. They don’t record together anymore, but Paco (Mr. Multi) now makes beautiful electronic music under the name San Elia Futura. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Paco personally as a loveable, friendly and down-to-earth guy. I wish him luck, joy and happiness in music and life 
La Noche No Es Para Mí was originally a hit for Spanish band Video in 1983. A haunting song about depression, boredom, loneliness and alienation. I have always loved the lyrics and have tried to do a faithful English translation below.
